Crystal Krause | E-RYT 500

When Crystal began her yoga practice, it became clear this style of physicality aligned with her personal goals. It was the only practice which made her feel better physically and mentally. With a background in gymnastics and dance, the physical aspect of yoga felt natural and intuitive. Since then, yoga has become her sole focus because it strengthens her on numerous levels. As a seasoned personal trainer and group fitness instructor, her experience in the yoga community has been focused on developing and maintaining high standards in teaching techniques. This quickly led to developing and executing yoga teacher training programs. She is dedicated to raising the vibrations of health and happiness through yoga because it has brought equilibrium and harmony in her life.

By inspiring the public to embrace yoga along with mindfulness, Crystal truly believes she can create an upward spiral of positive energy in people's lives.

Andrew Krause | E-RYT 500

Andrew's experience of yoga began when seeking to balance the intensity and competitiveness of martial arts training. He soon discovered that yoga was much more than he anticipated. Like many others, he began by seeking the physical benefits of the practice and soon found benefiting in other capacities of his life.

Andrew decided to dedicate his time and energy sharing yoga with others because the practices and philosophies in yoga inspired him to pursue more depth in self exploration, discipline, and new physical pathways. Andrew's energetic, fluid, and transparent style of teaching brings you to know yoga as it was intended: a practice to become reacquainted with your capacities, potential, and depth.

Vivian Calusinski | RYT 500

“Movement is the best medicine” is Vivian’s motto. Having done years of cardio, Vivian began logging her workouts, and noticed that she was not doing anything for flexibility. When Vivian added a regular yoga practice at PMY into her routine, she noticed that her flexibility and strength improved, and more importantly, her mindset did too. She took a deeper interest towards wellness, and can attribute yoga being the key to a better work/life balance.

Vivian is excited to be a part of other people’s wellness journeys. Outside of yoga, Vivian enjoys swinging on the flying trapeze, scuba diving, and discovering new restaurants with family and friends!

Brielle Malinowski | RYT 500

Brielle was seeking inspiration and a deeper meaning of life when her yoga practice began. Her background in martial arts led her to explore several forms of movement, and after years of study, she found yoga to be a complete practice.

Brielle’s mantra is to be a never-ending light for those around her. Her vivacious spirit and love for life shines in everything she does. Passionate about living and teaching the dynamic connections between yoga postures, breath work, and energetic vibrations; Brielle leads to inspire everyone she meets to live an intentional life.

Kristen Oldin | E-RYT 200

Kristen believes that every person has the ability to take what they learn on their mat and apply it to their daily lives. She aims to create a holistic approach to health by combining mind, body, and spiritual techniques. Keeping safety at the forefront of her practice, she works to teach her yogis proper form and technique to enhance the benefits of each pose. No matter what level you are, unroll your mat and join Kristen on your yoga journey.

Lexi Bunce | E-RYT 200

Lexi found yoga when looking for another enjoyable way to exercise and ease anxiety. She was a dancer, acrobat and cheerleader in her youth. She instantly fell in love with the physical experience of yoga and soon after found a unique emotional release involved as well.

Lexi's compassionate and fun personality opens up an environment where students can find a place to be true to who they are, without judgement, on their mat.

Chrissa Flaks | RYT 500

Chrissa has been a long-time fitness enthusiast and has taught a large variety of group fitness formats throughout her teaching career. The feeling of finding openness, mobility, and power without the high-impact of other exercise formats hooked her yoga addiction instantly. Chrissa became 200-RYT certified through Power Moves Yoga to share the passion she found in Yoga and is continuing her education further by currently working towards her 500 RYT.

Chrissa has 4 kids and is also a middle school music teacher. Taking time for self-care and finding inspiration through your own yoga journey is important in her teaching. She loves to help people discover their own personal strength, while still finding moments of subtle ease, peace, and lightness in the body. Join Chrissa for a Yoga class that is fueled by a love of music!

Bridgett Syzdek | E-RYT 200

Bridgett has a background in strength training, cycling, and group fitness. After just a few Yoga classes, she fell in love in the feeling she would get both physically and mentally. Bridgett then decided she wanted to fuse her strength training background with Yoga and discovered Yoga Strength at Power Moves Yoga. The class format offered the exertion she was familiar with and a sense of balance to the body.

Bridgett is a busy mom of 4 kids. Finding the time to center and slow down is important to her. She understands how valuable the time to get away to your mat is & how important it is to take care of yourself. She tries to live her life by the motto "the energy you put out is the energy you will get back". You can expect positive light and high energy from each one of her classes!

Carisa Orlicz | RYT 200

Carisa discovered yoga while in college, as a way to unwind and heal her body and mind healthfully. After numerous career paths, she came to realize that yoga was the constant she always turned to, and decided to take her passion to the next level by teaching others. Carisa’s background in exercise therapy and strength training keeps her focused on the body’s capabilities, and helps her to guide others mindfully past their barriers. Outside of her yoga practice, Carisa dedicates most of her time to her growing self-care business, but makes sure to leave space for music, roller skating, and spending time in nature.

Alex Moga | RYT 200

Alex accidentally discovered yoga during a movement challenge at a gym. She used yoga videos to fulfill 10 minutes of stretching a day and has never stopped.  Yoga became a supplementary tool to stay centered, disciplined, and calm during a very busy and transitional time in her life. Alex's daily, at-home yoga practice has slowly evolved into a core part of her practice. Alex teaches elementary school and has developed a passion for integrating yoga into her classroom.  She believes you have to practice what you preach and is always striving towards balance and ways to make a tangible difference. Alex aims to create a positive, playful environment with the main goal of simply feeling better than you did when you walked in. 

Alex currently stays home with her son and loves experiencing the world through his eyes.  She enjoys high intensity exercise, reading, fresh air, sunshine, and people!

Michael Felicelli | RYT 200

Michael’s yoga experience began when his passion for weightlifting left him seeking more ways to not only further his physical practice, but also regain his spiritual strength. After adding a few yoga classes to his routine, he soon realized the positive impact it has on the mind, body, and spirit. Since his yoga teacher training experience, yoga has opened new doors for Mike that led him down paths of meditation, breath-work and other mindfulness practices that he continues to use today to further his own fitness goals. His thirst for knowledge and curiosity of the connections between anatomy, physiology and meditation is what he hopes to inspire others to fulfill their own fitness goals, while also enjoying the journey to reach them.

Mariah Cheyney | RYT 200

Mariah has a background in ballet, and she discovered yoga as a teenager while in a ballet training program. She quickly realized the importance of the mind-body connection for ballet skills and techniques. Mariah continued to practice yoga during her studies and now works as an audiologist and teacher. She holds music and sound close to her heart and loves to explore the connections between music, movement, and expression of the inner being. Mariah's goal is to empower others through movement and self-expression.

 
When not practicing yoga, Mariah enjoys traveling, hiking, and spending time with her chihuahua!
